Think about a selfie with your team or one of the presenters. Speakers and influencers use hashtags to monitor the conversation, so it’s a great way to step forward and join in.

Ensure you check yourself into the event too. This will put your brand (whether company or personal) on the map with fellow attendees while demonstrating to your followers that you’re learning/participating/well connected (or all of the above!)

GET CONNECTED

Have you connected with the person sitting next to you on LinkedIn yet? If not, why not?

Send them a personal message the next day to ensure they remember you, too – whether that be via LinkedIn, email or the good old-fashioned pen to paper.

Remember to follow your new business contacts on their social media platforms and sign up to their eNewsletter too.
